Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 4, 2025 for our  Annual Lone Star Showdown! The registration is OPEN for our tournament. The Lone Star Showdown will be hosted at W.G. Thomas Coliseum at 6108 Broadway Ave, Haltom City, TX 76117- only about 15 minutes southbound Hwy 377 from the school! 
There are divisions available for all students regardless of experience level! Brand new students have options available for them too!

Important details to understand:
  • Competing age of competitor is determined by 01/01/2025. For example, if your student turned 10 in 2025, they will compete in the 8-9 age group according to TKO League bylaws. The age of the competitor will calculate automatically by the registration system! 
  • Belt rank is determined by 01/01/2025. For example, if your student was a orange belt (beginner rank) on 01/01/2025, but is now a green belt (intermediate rank), they will compete as an beginner (orange belt) according to TKO League bylaws. As the registrant, you are responsible for knowing which rank your student was in January! Please ask a staff member if you need help determining competing rank. 
    • As a reminder, camo belt is equivalent to a orange belt, so if your student was a camo belt in January, please notate their rank as a beginner (orange belt).
  • For LSBBA Spectators, purchase regular Spectator Passes and we will automatically upgrade you to VIP Passes that will get you onto the floor! Free upgrades are only available on pre-registrations! 


What divisions do I sign up for?

Non-TKO Divisions ($10 each) - REGISTER
  • BOP-# Bopper Sparring- great starter division for our kids to experience a tournament; we will practice this event in class 
  • FLAG-# Flag Sparring- great starter division for our kids to experience a tournament; we will practice this event in class

​TKO Divisions ($45 for 1st division, $25 for each additional division) - REGISTER
  • D-1 Demonstration- this is a great starter kata division for our new competitors; students will perform their form and each student will walk away with an award; this is typically recommended for our 10 and under beginners
  • UF-# Traditional Forms- this is our bread and butter!! Sign up to do our traditional katas (tan-gun, won-hyo, etc.) in this division- divisions are broken down by age & experience level
  • CF-# Creative Forms- this is where students can compete an open-hand kata; music can be used in this division- divisions are broken down by age & experience level
  • TK-# Team Kata- exactly what it sounds like- team kata (2-3 students); music can be used in this division- divisions are broken down by experience level
  • WC-# creative Weapons- this is where to compete your weapons katas- kama, sword, bo, & chucks; music can be used in this division (we do not recommend TW-# Traditional Weapons as our standard weapons forms are not traditional)- divisions are broken down by age & experience level
  • US-# Point Sparring- this is our other bread and butter! Sign up for TKD sparring in this division; this is the sparring division that most of our TKD students should sign up for- divisions are broken down by age & experience level
  • CS-# Continuous Sparring- this is Kickboxing Sparring; divisions are broken down by age & weight

TNT Divisions ($45 for 1st division, $25 for each additional division) - REGISTER (this is separate registration from TKO)
  • G_-# Grappling with Gi-  gi required; divisions are broken down by age, weight, & experience level 
  • SM_-# Sport MMA- rashguard, training shorts, MMA gloves, & shin guards required; divisions are broken down by age & weight
